Default What carburetor is best for a mildly beefed-up 390?

I'm shopping for a new carburetor for my '67 Mustang 390. It has a bigger cam (not sure how big), long tube headers, an Edelbrock intake and it's backed by a 4-speed top loader trans. I was running an Edelbrock 1406 600 CFM carb, but it has some issues, and I started rebuilding it but ran into issues with that so I've decided to get a new carb. A stock 390 is rated at 320 hp and uses a 600 CFM carb. Mine has 400 hp, so does it make sense to upgrade the carb to a 750? The car ran like a champ with the 600 carb (awesome low, mid and high-end acceleration), but I'm wondering if a 750 would be even better. Should I stick with what I know runs really well or try to get more power with a 750?

    I’d go with a 3310 Holley -
    750 CFM with vacuum secondaries.
With vacuum secondaries, you won’t overcarburate the engine.
As for tuning, the 3310 Holley should be close out of the box.

Since you have some upgrades, I would try the 750 CFM carb.
