    Default I知 Back

I recently purchased a 2016 5.0L. My fourth Mustang overall and my first since I sold my 2006 7 years ago.

I have a 2018 F150 5.0 that I had Flowmaster Outlaws on. They were extremely loud. Pretty much sounded like a cannon when I started the truck. Switched to MBRPs and I love the sound. For the Mustang I知 looking into Roush exhaust. I致e had Magnaflow and Flowmaster on my previous Mustangs but looking at Roush for this one. How comparable to the Outlaw are the Roush. I don稚 want anything near that loud. I want something with a deep tone that won稚 bounce the noise of a cannon off the house on a cold start.

Welcome back! I had a the Flowmaster American Thunder catback on my '13 GT. It's supposedly more tame than the Outlaws. I had to take it off as it was too loud and raspy for me. I also had some shorties put on at the same time so that may also have changed tone and volume a bit as well. My buddy had Roush on his '13 GT and it sounded very good. Removing the cats and resonators will have the biggest impact, so if you're just talking axleback, the Outlaws may be okay - I'm not sure if I've heard a system with just Outlaw axleback, but I can say that with just Roushes on an otherwise stock exhaust system, it does sound good.

Welcome back! The Roush mufflers are pretty loud, but shouldn't be too bad with the stock cats and mufflers still in place.

I have Roush on my 5.0. Cold start is pretty loud. Once warmed up and cruising it's livable, but if you open the car up they get loud in a hurry.

Best bet is to use a image host like imgur. Create a free account on there and link 'em up from here.
