I fixed a few things and drove the car for a little while and decided it was solid enough to hang onto and eventually restore.

Basically I accidentally bought it. I volunteered to help work on the car, but it got abandoned in my driveway and I became the owner
I was really just wanting to quote the OG Fast and Furious movie when it kinda fit, but thanks for the story! LMAO nice, sounds like a decent pick up then!

I have done some work on my winter beater, including a wheel bearing that I knocked out record time of 4 hours. They like to rust together and can be a real challenge. My kid wants to do a clutch on his '98 GT but I'm not that ambitious.

    No time off for me.
It’s business as usual at my essential job here in the hood.

I kept busy in the garage most of the weekend. I made some more progress on the 88. I should probably make a build thread. Once the floors are done, I'm going to pull the engine to clean up the engine bay and figure out what to do for a powerplant.

I also painted the calipers, replaced the pads, rotors, and brake hoses on my sister's Corvette.

Still working here, 5 days from home instead of 3. Office is closed, badges deactivated.
Lots and lots of drinking, watching the grass grow.
Multiple coats of wax on all the cars.
Dare I say, mods to car are done (for now of course)
Latest since SC install last fall, was few weeks ago, T-56 Magnum, some Kooks long tubes, McLeod twin disc, Moser axles, rear end rebuild with 3.73's

I see we graduated from the same school of thought.

Looked into ATI crank trigger shells for the 408. Dropped off some more stuff at the powercoaters. Thinking about selling the twin disc clutch because wtf a street car does not need a twin disc with an aluminum flywheel.
