Default 1987 Mustang Notch - 347 Carb swap - Lots of Aftermarket Parts. "The Creamsicle"

The time has come, finally time to sell this thing.

When I bought this car, sometime around 2001, it was 4 cylinder car. Took it down to a bare shell, and then built it back up with a lot of aftermarket parts.

Asking $6,500 CASH (FIRM) for the car with the understanding it needs a bit of work to really call it finished, but it's a solid car with a lot of great parts and money thrown into it. Come look at it (Yorkville), I prefer not to start it up and piss off my neighbors for just tire kickers though. If you're serious we'll fire it up (it's a very loud car).

The car does drive, however, it used to have an overheating problem after 5-10 miles. Supposedly a new thermostat fixed that, but I have not driven it long enough to test that, as it's not plated or insured. The car was mostly built as a track car, but I did drive it from Yorkville to Naperville a long time ago for a Wednesday night hooters meetup with some of the guys here. It was built as mostly a track car, so there is no A/C, no windshield wipers, etc...

Carbuerated 347 motor dropped into it, built C4 Transmission, 8.8" rear end from an 87 GT with 4.10 gears installed. The car has never been to the track.

Only thing belt driven is the alternator, everything else was removed and it uses an electric fan.

Here's a video of the car at idle (had open headers at the time): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDPTxBF-uAI

    Aluminum radiator overflow can

A few issues / things the car does need:
    - No door panels / window switches
    - bottom seatbelt harness was never mounted (5 point camlocks, out of date now)
    - No center console (Hurst shifter would require some modifications to the stock console)
    - possibly needs a driveshaft loop, I don't remember having one installed\
    - fuel level gauge and sending unit are mismatched, so fuel level reads wrong
    - tach isn't working, though it used to and nothing was I'm sure it's just a loose wire.
