    Not having a horn sux!! My truck horn went out not long ago. Too cold!! Wont fit in the garage.

    May sound silly but in this tempature I've seen horns freeze. Don't forget all it is is a diaphragm that vibrates. A little water or slush gets on it and in this temp freezes very quickly. Just had a 2013 escape come in yesterday for that problem. Sat in the shop for a couple hours and works like new.

    ^^^ This. The horn in my van sounds like itís going though puberty right now.

    Then again, I use that fucker like 15 times a day.

    Good point, I will leave it in the garage tonight and see what happens.

    I don't use my horn enough

    I'll have to give it a try during my evening commute. I ran my car through a touchless car wash yesterday, so I wouldn't be surprised if my horn is frozen.

    Appreciate it 04crobawhine, thanks for taking the time to post as this was correct. I parked in the garage when I got home from work and threw a heater by the horn. Two hours later a few pushes on the horn and it worked.
