At least with the one I have it takes some getting used to the more metallic feel. Hopefully it gets better for you.
Thanks man, I've heard this as well. And mileage on it is definitely helping. I'm giving it a solid 500 miles before I make any final judgements, but day one was *rough*. I could barely get the car into first / reverse and going between gears was far from smooth. Of course I was also breaking in a new clutch at the same time so that probably didn't help.

Ed let me know what you think of it once you've given it some miles. I've heard good things and was thinking about getting one for my car.

Yes I had the blue one. I loved it, but I just made it a bit too hard on me. I'm getting to be a fragile old man and the car just beat me up too much, and it didn't hurt to get into something a bit more practical.

What I did for my Mustang lately was to trade it in, so I guess that's kinda on topic. I left it intact so someone does get to enjoy it exactly how I left it. I wonder if I'll see it around, that would be really weird I think. There's a lot I miss about it but some stuff I don't.

WOW, that car was beautiful! Whenever I drove through town to head home, I always gave it a look!

Will do. I have a different transmission though so I'm wondering how much of this is the shifter and how much is the T6060. I'm going to put some miles on this weekend and give it a thorough "test drive" at GLD this Wednesday so we'll see how I feel about it after that.
