Nice! I like the 50th anniversary style grille! That looks much better.

Put on Power Stop Track Day Advance brake pads. Track Day the following day. Two thumbs way up. They performed great. Dusty Mf'ers but worth it.

My original plan for the weekend was to get out to Byron or US41 today, but that didn't happen. Saturday I installed my new overflow tank for the radiator and then took the car for a test drive. The fans wouldn't kick on and the engine was stumbling and hesitating.

The fan ended up being an easy fix. The junkyard fan connector I used either had a bad pin or corrosion in it. I bypassed the connector and hardwired the ECU signal wire to the fan module and that fixed it. The engine hesitation and stumble took me awhile to diagnose though. As usual, it ended up being something stupid. I had an exhaust leak near the wideband O2 sensor, so the Holley system was dumping fuel, thinking the engine was lean. I fixed that and was able to drive the car quite a bit today. It ran great and the new fan setup works really well.

Here's the new overflow tank I installed next to my oil catch can.
