No, I don't have headers/manifolds yet. I'm more than likely going to buy the TFS branded Stainless Works down and forward headers. I am also considering buying flowtech headers and replacing the flanges to fit high ports. I'll worry about that once I get the engine finished.

Yeah I'm shooting for 1,100 - 1,200 at the rear wheels. I'm really just looking to have a mid to high 8 second car that I can drive on the street.

No. I have a 351w shortblock for the '88. I may re-use the heads from my '90. Otherwise I'll probably just part it out and sell what I can. This current engine in the car is just shy of 12:1 compression and isn't very street friendly.

Last piece of the puzzle for the new engine finally arrived. After waiting almost 9 months on my order for LGM rockers, I got tired of waiting and cancelled my order. I ordered a set from Jesel and had them in just a few days.

Now I just need to find a good time to gather all of my parts and take them to a machine shop. I plan to have the engine together by spring.

Since we all like pictures of new car parts

I'm leaning towards Opel. They've done work for me in the past and they are always great to work with. I think I'm just going to have them assemble it. It lessens the chances of me damaging anything transporting parts back home and if any fitment issues arise during assembly, I don't have to make a trip back to the machine shop.
