Pretty much I barely drove it last year. I drove it to North Carolina and back. Other than that, it only came out for the Season opener, Closer, and one autox in October. I put around 2,400 miles on it last year. I was so excited to have my fox up and running, that the Boss got neglected.

How do you like them? The stock tires don't last long, even when it appears that they still have life left - they don't grip well. I think I may be getting to that point. Though wonder if it was just the chilly morning air that gave me traction issues. I'll have to try again when it's 80 out and the pavement is nice and warm.

I had the same experience with the stock Pirellis. I thought they were good tires until they got down to around 50% tread. Then it seemed like performance diminished a lot.

I liked the Continental DWs. I'm down to around 30% tread with ~12,000 miles on them. They still hook pretty well and performed well at autocross this past weekend.

The Continental tires actually hooked in 2nd gear where the Pirellis seemed to spin more. Wet traction with the Continental tires was better too. One thing that is a pro or a con, depending on how you look at it, is sidewall stiffness. The Continentals have a softer sidewall, which makes for a very quiet and comfortable ride, but sacrifices some steering response. This is probably the best tire you'll find for a 3 season daily driver.

I'm due for new tires and don't know what I want. I'd like to try Michelin Pilot Super Sports PS4s, but don't want to spend $1400 on tires. I liked the Continentals enough that I'll probably try their new Extreme Sport tire that replaced the DW.

I wonder what the boss would like with the blue and black boss vinyl?

That guy was smart. When you're not racing, you have to work. Standing out in the sun for over an hour at a time sucks. I forgot a hat and sunscreen and am still regretting it lol.

Hmmm. It would probably look pretty subtle and blend in with the blue. I like the contrast with white.

Where are all of the 5.br0s with Brembo cars? I need help picking out brake pads for this junker.

I use the car for the occasional autocross and will see some spirited driving on mountain roads. The OEM pads have done everything I've needed them to do. The only thing I dislike is the dust. Right now I'm looking at Raybestos EHT pads. What is everyone else running?
