I use the car for the occasional autocross and will see some spirited driving on mountain roads. The OEM pads have done everything I've needed them to do. The only thing I dislike is the dust. Right now I'm looking at Raybestos EHT pads. What is everyone else running?
Glad to hear you're thinking EHT! Since you do autocross, we also have a new street performance pad line. SP1050XP would fit your brembos, and is a metallic pad, more aggressive than EHT, but will dust more than EHT.

I was looking at those. Since I don't really push the car that hard, I'm leaning towards the EHT. I've been using EHTs on everything else that I own or work on. They are the only brake pad I've ever used that don't squeal at all. Others in the past that I've tried eventually become noisey.

Glad to hear you have had such good luck with EHT! It is a great formula. Good mix of ceramic qualities and metallic qualities. It is our #1 seller for sure.

This car got some attention over the weekend. At 23k miles, the brake pads were down to around 30% so I went ahead and did pads and rotors. No cool upgrades or anything exciting. I ended up going with OEM Motorcraft stuff. I also bought a new set of Continental ExtremeContact Sports, that I will be getting mounted within the next week or two.

I can't believe I've owned this car for over 6 years already

Nothing cool going on over here other than racking up some more miles. Figured I'd post some new pics.

In early August, I took the car down to the tail of the dragon for it's 4th time.

It's a long boring drive to our destination.

This time rather than staying at Fontana Village, we opted for a giant lake house on Lake Nantahala. Our group arrived after dark and had to drive this brutal gravel mountain road in pitch black darkness to get to the house. One of the cars in our group tore a sidewall in a tire on a rock we couldn't see. Although off-roading in Mustangs isn't fun, it was worth it for the amazing lake house and epic scenery.

This was what we saw when we finally reached the end of the gravel road. That roof is the top of the house we rented for the week. It was a steep downhill driveway that lead to the house.

    The driveway

    The house from the backside

    The views

It was a quiet and peaceful lake before we arrived

Of course we drove the dragon a few times

    And back home and washed
