Finally got around to watching Blade Runner 2049 on HBO. Meh, sequels never seem to live up to the original and Rutger Hower was great in the first.

Infinity War, not really sure why people are raving about it, it was ok though.

Night School. probably give it a 6/10. Some funny moments and then other spots where they drag it out.

Venom - 6/10. The antagonist just couldn't act and that killed it for me. Pretty solid otherwise.

Bad Times at the El Royale 6/10.
Very disappointing. Great cast and concept, but the story feels written angsty 15-year olds trying to plagiarize The Hateful Eight; With a fraction of quotable lines, no edge to the violence, and WAY too much singing. Worst of all they did absolutely nothing with the dual-state setting.

This is a great candidate for a prequel to blow it out of the water. Go watch Four Rooms from 1995 back when edgy movies could get away with being this weak.

Your description of that movie reminds me when I seen "Paint your wagon" years ago. I mean hell, Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood were in it. For you youngins
Lee Marvin was a Marine in WWII and landed on Saipan. So I figured between him and Clint this would be a movie.

Nope, it was a fucking musical.
The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but Im just not close enough to get the job done.

Then don't watch the western Cat Balou starring Jane Fonda with Nat King Cole doing musical transitions for select scenes.
Lee Marvin won an Oscar for playing the drunken hired gunman.
