its bolt-on unless you're referring to cleveland heads. windsor heads except for some of the late 60's were all restrictive and not worth using on a 302.

but if you want to use them, they are a direct bolt-on, no mods necessary

D0-- head are the best flowing one that were better than E7's. I forgot the other two numbers tho. I would just save up for a good aluminum head tho.

You may need to buy what they call top hats as the 351 head is going to have a 1/2" bolt hole and your 302 has 7/16" bolt holes. Other than that and maybe some new push rods it should be a no brainer.

and youll need a new lower intake as those heads are wider, and if your running long tubes youll have to get new headers as those heads sit higer.

The lower and headers will fit fine. The only reason you need a new lower and different headers on a 351 is because it is 9.2 deck where as a 302 is a 8.2 deck. If you put 351 heads on a 302 the deck the height is still the same so you can re use all your old parts.

I got those C90E heads on my car and I cant complain, not as fast as a car with aluminum heads but pretty respectable.

you will need a spacer to fill the 1/2 hole also the 351 heads are rail rockers so you might want to get screw in studs.Any casting after d5 is junk, having same valve size as 302. Bigger valves make better hp
