So besides football and baseball obviously, what else does everyone watch? Nascar and Hockey is mainly what I watch, along with a little football

Pretty much just football, I will watch a baseball game every once in a while but I don't make it a point to watch them. As for racing it's the same situation.

Baseball just gets me to football season (NFL). And my roomate in college got me into nascar a bit. And i'd be tellin a lie if i said i did'nt jump on the FIFA bandwagon during the world cup.

Collage football, Rally racing, Pike Peak racing, The X-games and stuff like that are always fun to watch too.

NASCAR, NFL and the Cubs are the only sports I can watch on TV- unless its March Madness or the World Cup- I can kind of get into those

i grew up a Dale Sr. fan, and i've obviously morphed into a Dale Jr. fan.

I also like Tony Stewart's temper :biglaugh:

But i absolutely HATE Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards, Kurt Busch, Jimmie Johnson, and Matt Kenseth. They can all suck a nut.

Very varied dislikes there! But I think I have to ban you for using "like" and "Tony Stewart" in the same sentence- I can only support those two when referencing something similar to, "I like it when Tony Stewart crashes into the wall," or "I like it when Tony Stewart DNF's"

That works, have to agree with you about hatin jeff gordon, and jimmie johnson, carls really actually a nice guy, but i liked him since he was racin trucks, and kenseth, well he's just kinda there, and Stewart.. he's just great! lol

Hence the reason I don't watch NHL. I can't watch hockey on tv, it's one of those things you actually have to be there to see, and the hockey i watch isnt on tv anyway

I know enough to say JEFF GORDON IS ONE OF THE BEST DRIVERS IN THE WORLD, better than any F1 driver.

As much as i dislike the man, you can't argue with that he is a good driver. But that don't change the fact i can't stand him.

Open wheel racing is awesome. Been to the races and they are badass. Never been to a NASCAR event, but it just seems too slow to be fun. I'm sure it's a good time when you're there though.

That what i don't understand. how do you choose who you like and dislike? You like their sponsors? the color of the car? they take left turns better than everyone else? how?

Each person is differnt, some people like drivers because of their name, Like some of dale jr fans are only dale jr fans because of his father. Some people like drivers because of their driving style or attitude. Or car manufaturer(sp?) You get people who are ford fans, and they'll have a driver who drives a ford, but if that driver changes teams and goes to driving for dodge or chevy, they pick another ford driver. You can dislike people because of the way they drive, or just them in general. Everyone has their own reasoning for who they like and why they like them, or who they dislike and why.

Anyone go see the Chicago Wolves (hockey)? Since i'm closer to Peoria I like the Rivermen, and haven't made it to a wolves game and was wonderin how they are up there.

They weren't bad last year that I know of. The few times they came to Peoria we went, because that was definatly a game to see, they usually won though. Oh well. I think i'm going to try and make it up to Chicago for at least one game this year when they start, see how it is. Just Peoria is much closer.

I like to watch grass grow. Not a popular sport as there's really no competition yet. Trees are too slow and the weeds don't meet the class specifications. There's been rumors of a new division specifically for weeds but there's a lot of opposition being presented by Ortho, one of the largest Corporate Sponsers. It'll be interesting to see what happens during the Winter Conference down in Atlanta, I heard the Kudzu is supposed to be making an unscheduled appearance during the conference.
